My favourite thing about dirty ice cream is that it’s not actually dirty, it’s just freakin’ delicious! What used to just be a part of my childhood memories living in the Philippines, has now made its way back to the present times. I couldn’t be more excited to be reunited with some of my favourite Filipino desserts ever and it’s all thanks to Mamasons.
The Top of Waikiki has been welcoming guests from all over the world since its opening, which dates back to October 1965. Since then, it has been remodelled into a three-tiered Waikiki hot spot for travellers and foodies alike, serving the best of the best Hawaiian regional steak and seafood on the island. This is the first revolving restaurant I’ve ever been to, so when my family decided to give it a go, it definitely got my mind spinning for sure (no pun intended, hehe).
As you guys know, I’m originally from the Philippines so from time to time I do get the odd homesickness, even though I’ve now been living in the UK for over 17 years. But you know what makes me happy? Food – like, real good food. So as you can imagine, the moment I heard about Romulo Cafe, I had to go try it out P R O N T O.
Oriental cuisine will always have a special place in my heart…aaand my taste buds. Let’s be real once you’re born Asian you always Asian, am I right or am I right y’all? So I’ve recently tried this dim sum restaurant in London called Ping Pong and they actually have quite a few branches all around the city already.
