I had soooo much fun at the London Fashion Week Festival this weekend. I went with a full squad of some of my favourite gals including my sister so it turned out to be such a nice day out. It was also our first time to go so it was extra exciting on that note as we’ve never been before.
My LFWF Look
For the festival I wanted to go for a super chic but cutesy look so I went for a nude pink pleated dress from Boohoo and threw a black cape with a fur collar (from Primark) over myself to keep warm. For shoes, I went for black ankle boots, also from Primark.
I wanted to go for my black feather clutch with the outfit BUT I needed a bigger bag that could fit my camera in as well so I went for my beige Guess bag instead which just about managed to fit….my life inside.
For my makeup, as always, I wanted to keep it all fresh-faced and simple. One thing that I did try out however, was the Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette. It is literally the best palette I’ve ever had to date. I will do a proper review soon but my oh my, it is amazing. Smells just like peaches too!
I was a little but rushed for time getting ready so I quickly ran my GHD straighteners through my hair and VIOLA big waves.
So the festival’s held at The Store Studios, 180 Strand, WC2R and it’s been running since 21st September until Sunday 24th September. As soon as we get to the venue, we were surrounded by a tonne of photo ops so we were Instagrammin’ and vlogging away. Loved seeing everyone else’s style and fashion too.
There were two entrances, one was for ticket and designer tote bag collection and then the other was the main entrance to the festival. Once we were all set with our tickets, we then went through the main entrance and into what looked like designer shopping heaven. The place was fully decked out with curated edits of designer clothing at exclusive prices that we can all shop, so tempting! AHH!
We also had the pleasure of hanging out with Maybelline where we checked out their latest Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick collection. We even took a few Boomerangs here and there and had a few giggles with the Maybelline team.
This was the highlight of my evening, oh my goodness. We were sitting at the FROW and it was incredible. Being in there and actually feeling the atmosphere and seeing the clothes there and then was insanely better than watching it streamed online. I mean yes, that’s a no brainer but I had so much fun being in my element at the FYODOR GOLAN show and to top it all off, we got front row seats! My Instagram story was hella lit today, loved every moment of the show. So sooo good.
FYODOR GOLAN consists of the design duo Fyodor Podgorny & Golan Frydman. The contemporary womenswear label is all about passionate self-expression through the element of vibrant colour palettes and bold prints making this a very striking and recognisable brand from the get-go. The catwalk had a stunning influx of so much colour with a special appearance of some references to childhood favourites, namely The Powerpuff Girls on jumpers. LOOOOVE! 💕
The London Fashion Week Festival was an amazing experience and was such a lovely day out with my favourite girls. We had so much fun that we now want to make this a regular thing every year. LFWF 2018, we’re ready for ya.
