Whenever I’m in need of a little getaway, Paris is always a good idea. With just one hop away across the channel and tadaa, here I am and this time, I chose to treat myself for a night’s stay at Hilton Paris Opera. For this weekend, all I really wanted was just slow and relaxed vibes with a subtle sparkle of glam here and there, all of which I enjoyed during my mini Parisian weekend stay in the Opera district.
For my weekend stay, I went for a deluxe room which had complimentary WiFi, HDTV, a personal bar and a safe. The room was spacious and bright with a lovely modern Parisian style decor. As soon as I got in, I immediately let myself collapse onto my queen size bed and from that point I was well and truly LIVING. I was so excited to just get into my lounging clothes and just unwind a little before going for a wander around the city. My friend was already with me when I got to the hotel and she was actually very tempted to stay over as well. The room was just perfect for the a weekend of relaxation.
Now when I mentioned that I was living earlier, I walked into the bathroom and let me tell you guys, I well and truly lived some more. The bathroom floor y’all, the floor was heated. HEATED! It was such a cold weekend so as you can probably imagine, any source of warmth won extra brownie points from me and oh my goodness – the beautiful marbled floor of the bathroom was just so cosy and warm that my friend and I were chilling on it for a while, rolling around the floor, soaking up all that heat, no joke. And yes we a little cray like that. The bathroom also featured a walk in rain shower so I was already dreaming about showering too. Can you tell how much I needed this break?
I’ve listed their room amenities below taken from their website for your reference:
The Hotel Ambience
Right, so stepping out of the room talk now, Hilton Paris Opera also boasts a state-of-the-art fitness centre and several restaurants and mega chic bars. The Baccarat ballroom however, was the area of this beautiful hotel that really caught my heart eye emojis. The ballroom, which can hold up to 180 guests, features stunning vintage chandeliers hanging from super high ceilings and hand-painted frescos, making it such a lavish place for all guests to relax and mingle in luxury and sophistication.
When I was looking for a place to stay for the weekend, I definitely wanted to ensure that I was staying somewhere central in Paris. Hilton Paris Opera was perfectly located for me as it’s located in the very heart of the Right Bank’s Opera district which is just a short walk from Champs-Elysées, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Haussmann. Saint Lazare train station is also just a few steps away which is so convenient. In terms of getting there from Gare du Nord, you’ll need to get on the RER towards Haussmann St.Lazare and get off at the final stop. You’ll just need to find the Saint Lazare exit and the hotel will literally be in front of you. If you are flying in via either Charles de Gaulle or Orly, driving-wise it’s pretty much equidistant both ways, averaging in at around 30 mins of drive time. More information can be found here.
So what do you guys think? Isn’t this hotel such a beauty? If you’re looking for a place to stay in the heart of Paris, I would recommend Hilton Paris Opera anytime, be it for a business trip in the city, a lover’s getaway or simply a weekend break away, this hotel has everything you’ll need to relax in style and be in the centre of it all.
